This class will teach you techniques you can use at home to release and restore. Using the foam roller, trigger point ball and a resistance band, you will get a full body massage. I have specialized training in Myofacial release techniques that will get your muscles back on track to release trigger points causing pain and tension from desk sitting, repetitive movements, and improper posture. Come rest and restore!

Barre fitness is the fasted growing workout nationwide. It is a hybrid workout class – combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre (or a chair at home) and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements. Barre is glute and abdominal intensive, in a safe and low impact environment. Building these muscle groups reduces low back pain and issues that develop from sitting in a desk for long hours. Join Amy for this booty burning, abdominal strengthening class!
Join Amy for her Private or Group Reformer Pilates classes. The reformer will give you a different and unique experience from the Mat. You will gain more flexibility, balance, and coordination. Private sessions are offered at Amy’s home in Lakewood and to those who prefer more individualized attention such as working on particular injuries/chronic pain or those seeking more advanced or a specialized workout. Group classes are open to everyone and are offered on Thursday evenings at Wheat Ridge Recreation Center. Check the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center website for group classes or contact Amy for more detail about group or private sessions.

Amy Tunnell completed an intensive 500 hour Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Training for Mat, Reformer, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Tower, Cadillac, Spring Board, as well as micro-facial release and Suspension training. Come feel the difference in this uniquely effective mind-body experience.
Pilates Instructor and fitness coach, Amy Tunnell is here to provide you with a solution for your employees to maintain health and wellness while working from home virtually. Amy also provides individual packages for those seeking options not related to corporate programs. Denver West Fitness provides LiveStream classes 5 days a week and On Demand classes in mat Pilates, Barre, Strength Training, Cardio, and Stretch & Restore. Classes are on a schedule, but also available as a video link with 24 hour access for viewing later for those busy days. Amy also provides 15 minute daily challenges (Desk breaks) Monday through Thursday, which will also be available in the online video library. Additionally, Amy is available for consult on proper ergonomic setup for office set ups. She is in the process of compiling video tutorials which will also be available on demand.
